| The Faith Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors consists of a
President, Vice President, and Past President. The President and Vice
President are elected from the membership by a majority vote of the
members at a meeting in November for a 1 year term. Vacancies
among officers for unexpired terms shall be filled from the membership
by a vote of the members at a meeting. The duties of the Officers shall
be to carry out the business of the Faith Chamber of Commerce. based
upon general directions supplied by the membership. To do this it may
appoint committees.
The Faith Chamber of Commerce has three committees. They include:
Personnel: Bingo: and Retailers. The Personnel Committee addresses
issues relevant to the one full-time Director, Part-Time
Secretary/Treasurer, and Part-Time Experience Works Greeter. The Bingo
Committee is concerned with the sufficiency of volunteers and supplies
to conduct the weekly Bingo games from January to the end of June, and
the accounting of revenue. Bingo is an important funding source for the
Faith Chamber of Commerce. The Retailers Committee sponsors a variety of
community events throughout the year such as: Ranchers Forum; Easter
Games; Mothers Day Tea; Annual Ambulance Banquet; Fathers Day Demolition
Derby; 4th of July Fireworks Display; Fall & Winter holiday
celebrations; and the Faith Area News daily radio broadcast. |
